RAB detained two youth members including secretary in Joypurhat

Jaipurhat RAB-5 members have arrested Moktadul Haque Adnan, Member Secretary of Joypurhat District Jubodal and member Mahidul Islam Khan Rajib, who are accused in the explosive case of throwing a petrol bomb on a pickup in Joypurhat.
This information was informed in a press release sent by Joypurhat RAB-5 camp on Wednesday (November 29) evening. Earlier, they were detained from the city’s housing state area in the afternoon.
The arrested are district Jubo Dal member secretary Moktadul Haque Adnan, son of Samchhul Haque of Butter Mor area of the city and district Jubo Dal member Mohidul Islam Khan Rajib, son of Anwar Hossain Khan of Shantinagar area.
Joypurhat RAB-5 camp company captain Major Md. Sheikh Sadiq told the media workers that on November 18, a pickup was coming from Rajshahi towards Joypurhat. Around 9 pm, 30/35 people stopped the pickup on the road on the west side of Khari Bridge in Chakdadara Fakirpara village. They then threw bricks and petrol bombs at the pickup and set it on fire. On receiving information, fire service and law enforcement agencies reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
When a case was filed at Sadar Police Station, RAB arrested District Jubo Dal member secretary Moktadul Haque Adnan and member Mohidul Islam Khan Rajib as accused in the case. Later they were handed over to the police.
